About The Model Shift
The Model Shift publishes AI news from accepted sources and scores every story through a multi-agent review pipeline. Instead of hiding what doesn’t pass, we label it—so you always know what you’re reading.
Trust Bands
Every story is classified into a trust band based on automated review:
- Verified—passed all review agents with consensus. High confidence, low hype.
- Flagged—close call. Some agents raised concerns. Read with caution.
- Unverified—did not pass review. Published for transparency, not as vetted reporting.
Stories from non-whitelisted sources are rejected at ingestion and do not appear in the feed.
Review Pipeline
- Source Validation—only whitelisted, reputable sources accepted
- Confidence Scoring—factual confidence scored by source tier and language
- Hype Detection—exaggeration and hype language flagged and scored
- Duplicate Checking—near-duplicate stories caught via content hashing
- Factual Tone Review—unsupported superlatives and vague attribution flagged
- Gatekeeper Consensus—at least 3 of 4 reviewers must approve for Verified
Transparency
Every story—regardless of trust band—includes a review transparency panel showing exactly which agents reviewed it and what they found.
